Facemob released its debut studio album The Other Side of the Law on August 13, 1996, via Rap-A-Lot Records and it peaked at #6 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard) chart and at #51 on the US Billboard 200 chart. Devin the Dude was a member of Facemob, a hip-hop group put together by rapper Scarface. The album peaked at #66 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard) chart. With Coughee Brothaz, Devin the Dude released the group’s debut studio album titled Fadanuf Fa Erybody!! on February 1, 1994, and it includes songs like Here to Say a Lil’ Somethin’, Putcha Lips, I Can’t See It, Long Time Comin’, and Jazz Rendition. He met Rob Quest, a blind rapper and record producer, and Jugg Mugg after graduating high school and they formed the group called the Odd Squad (later known as Coughee Brothaz). During his teen years, Devin the Dude got inclined towards breakdancing and joined many dance crews until he began rapping, which eventually became his main interest.
